By accessing or using the “Life in the UK” website, associated social media or the Rubrique Ltd Service made available by Rubrique Ltd (together, the “Service”), however accessed, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions which consists of the following policies:

  7. Any links shared on Website are your responsibility and we take no responsibility for any third party links shared on the Website. If we find that any third party links you have posted do not comply with our Terms and Conditions, you will be removed from the Website

  8. You must not defame, stalk, bully, abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate people or entities and you must not post private or confidential information via the Website. If found doing so we would delete your account and report you to the relevant authorities.

  9. You may not use the Website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  10. You are solely responsible for your conduct and Content that you submit, post or display on or via the Service.

  11. You must not change, modify, adapt or alter the Service or change, modify or alter another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service or Rubrique Ltd

You must not create or submit unwanted email, comments, likes or other forms of commercial or harassing communications (a/k/a “spam”) to any Website users.

Instead, you hereby grant to Rubrique Ltd a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use the Content that you post on or through the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Rubrique Ltd Content is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other laws, and, as between you and Rubrique Ltd, Rubrique Ltd owns and retains all rights in the Rubrique Ltd Content and the Service. You will not remove, alter or conceal any copyright, trademark, service mark or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the Rubrique Ltd Content and you will not reproduce, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works based on, perform, display, publish, distribute, transmit, broadcast, sell, license or otherwise exploit the Rubrique Ltd Content.

The Rubrique Ltd name and logo and the Website name and logo are trademarks of Rubrique Ltd, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Rubrique Ltd. In addition, all page headers, custom graphics, button icons and scripts are service marks, trademarks and/or trade dress of Rubrique Ltd, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Rubrique Ltd.

  6. You agree that Rubrique Ltd is not responsible for, and does not endorse nor monitor, any third party Content posted within the Service. Rubrique Ltd does not have any obligation to pre-screen, monitor, edit, or remove any third party Content. If your Content violates these Terms and Conditions, you may bear legal responsibility for that Content.

REFUNDS POLICY

This Refund Policy applies for all products and services purchased through the Website (www.lifeintheuk.guide).

If you purchase a Product or Service from the Website checkout, you understand that:

  1. The Website uses a third party payment provider. Rubrique Ltd does not hold any payment details of users.

  2. You may contact Rubrique Ltd directly about your purchase; and

  3. No refund is provided for any purchased content or service in any circumstances. Please consider carefully before purchasing the content or service.

After making a purchase, you will be sent confirmation of the purchase via email promptly after the purchase.

You acknowledge that the Rubrique Ltd is not obliged to provide a refund on digital Products and services purchased through the Website.

Refunds for digital products shall only be given in the following limited circumstances:

  1. If there was a technical issue and the content was never made available to the buyer.

  2. If there was a duplicate order or payment due to a technical fault. Genuine multiple orders by the same person are not eligible for a refund.

You may be requested to provide proof of purchase when requesting a refund.

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This acceptable use policy sets out the terms between you and us under which you may access the Website and/ or the Service. This acceptable use policy applies to all users of, and visitors to, the Service.

    • Following termination or deactivation of your account, Rubrique Ltd, its Affiliates, or its Service Providers may retain information (including your profile information) and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.

 Rubrique Ltd does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service.
